From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Whistle Stop Inn is a two story building in Chicago, Illinois that held a variety of businesses, and now houses the Irving Park Historical Society. Built in 1889, it represents a type of intimate neighborhood store front that was common, but is now rare. The Whistle Stop Inn was designated a Chicago Landmark in 1990.[1] It is located at 4200 W.
