The Hollow of the Morning is the third album by Irish singer-songwriter Gemma Hayes, which is expected to be released on May 9th, 2008. The first single to be released with be 'Out of Our Hands' on May 5th, 2008.
[edit] The Album
- The album will feature backing vocals from Irish singer-songwriter Joe Chester who Gemma has previously worked with on his debut album. Others who have assisted in producing the album include Paul Noonan from Bell X1 and Kevin Shields.
- The album was originally meant to receive a full release in November 2007 on www.gemmahayes.com, but the album has been delayed as Gemma Hayes is currently looking for a new label to distribute the album internationally. The album has been mixed by Steve Fitzmaurice and mastered by Greg Calbi.

[edit] Promotion
Promotion for the album began in October, 2007 in LA at the Hotel Cafe. On March 5, 2008 Gemma announced her Irish tour dates which take place in April in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. A UK promotional tour starts in May.
