There is a band in Toronto known as the Whiners. I am KEITH of the Whiners and posting here our bio:

Our stuff combines a mix of the blues with a stream of happy/sad life experiences (our own and others - maybe yours too). We call it "Whiner music". Catch up with us sometime soon to hear exactly what that's all about!

The Whiner family of players include:

KEITH (vox, guitars, tape effects & songwriter)

Jamie Manov (vox, keys, bass guitar, guitars & songwriter)

David Marshall Green (vox, lead guitars, bass & songwriter)

Shannon Morton (vox & guitar)

Historically:

The Whiners began in 1998 as a duo - really two guys who complained about a lot of stuff (ergo the "Whiners" handle). "Staff cutbacks" (can you say musical differences of opinion or a bit too much real whining?) reduced v.1.0 to a solo act in May 2005.

But, as luck would have it, there were three honourary Whiners that played very briefly with the v.1.0 duo and, in June 2005, v.2.0 Whiners came to pass with KEITH still at the wheel.

That's the story so far except to say our biggest thrill gigs were in Toronto at the Opera House and Nathan Phillips Square in Toronto. Our annual Whiners Variety Night gig has run since 2001.
