[edit] Heavy revisions by "Deanbennett"

I think there is some usable material in the text added by this user, but the overall effect of the changes is to turn the article into something which blatantly violates WP:NPOV throughout. To "Dean": this is an encyclopedia article, not a platform for you to express your views. If you're interested in having some of your material incorporated into the article, I suggest you take it slow (don't rewrite the whole article all at once and just expect others to accept it), take WP:NPOV seriously in your edits, and be willing to discuss your edits here on the talk page as many of them are, in my opinion, debatable. I have made some edits incorporating a little of your material. I inadvertently made some of these edits while not signed in, from IP address 76.19.80.29. SethTisue 13:57, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

I have reverted the changes back to Seth's last revision. You must understand that taking them out is not censorship. We are taking them out because they are not being incorporated into the article in a sensitive and encyclopedic manner. At the moment your additions make the article seem like a platform for your anti-Whitehouse beliefs. As Seth says, you need to add them in a more careful manner, making them flow within the context of the article as a whole. And you need to engage in discussion here on this talk page to explain why your additions merit inclusion in a neutral encyclopedia article. --Richardrj talk email 14:26, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Something about psychology

Sorry for removing the phrase "and other forms of esoteric linguistic design", but I don't know what it means and I don't know what to suggest replacing it with...? Something about "psychology", maybe? SethTisue 02:07, 3 June 2007 (UTC)

I see that someone removed NLP and added Scientology and Large Group Awareness Training, and then it got reverted by someone saying Bennett has "nothing to do" with Scientology or LGAT. I feel like I've read that some of the lyrics on at least one recent album are partly lifted from Scientology protocols, but I can't find the source right now and I don't know if it was authoritative anyway. Does anybody have a source on whether it makes sense to include references to any/all of these topics (NLP, Scientology, LGAT)? Certainly referencing those topics helps convey the flavor of what the lyrics are like, but I guess the article shouldn't actually say "Bennett's interest" unless he's on record somewhere expressing that interest.
