Just a note to the editors. The White Lady or La Dame Blanche is also a mythical figure - a "white witch" or "wise woman" who is empowered by a "mother goddess" or the Virgin Mary, depending on your theology. She has the power to see the future, to tell truth from a lie, to deal in life and death. She is reputed to be able to drink poison and not be harmed. She has magic at her disposal. This should be added to your notes on this topic.
