The book's depiction of Sam Vimes appears to me to bear a strong resemblance to the actor Pete Postlethwaite... -- Karada 14:22, 24 January 2006 (UTC)

You're not the only one to notice that, and I swear I heard somewhere that PTerry himself intended Vimes to look like Postlethwaite, only to have the cover artists draw him differently. Confusing Manifestation 16:56, 30 January 2006 (UTC)
