A portion may be incorrect;
"The Huron Branch, WLE's first line between Norwalk and Huron, was acquired by WE [implying after 1990] but was never activated north of the Norwalk city limits and was later removed in its entirety."
According to a scanned document, which can be found here, http://www.cppr.net/documents/abandonment.html, it appears NS petitioned for abandonment of the Huron Branch in 1988, before WLE (II)75.35.242.241 (talk) 15:56, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
Needs far more information on today's operations. The Wheeling is a major regional player at 820 miles, but not a peppe about it today?
