[edit] Licensing
This image is of a book cover, and the copyright for it is most likely owned either by the artist who created the cover or the publisher of the book. It is believed that the use of low-resolution images of book covers
qualifies as fair use under United States copyright law. Other use of this image, on Wikipedia or elsewhere, might be copyright infringement. See Wikipedia:Non-free content for more information. |
[edit] Fair Use for Mary Higgins Clark
I believe this is fair use in Mary Higgins Clark because it:
- a) is low resolution
- b) cannot be replaced
- c) is used in conjunction with a paragraph explaining the significance of this work in Clark's career and includes literary criticism of the novel.
