What Is Cooking?, previously titled, Stella, is an English language comedy to be directed by Dilip Mehta. The film will feature Seema Biswas in the principal role, with Biswas essaying the role of a nanny. A. R. Rahman will be scoring the music for the film. Deepa Mehta, the director's sister, wrote the screenplay. Media reports have stated that the film will begin rolling in September 2007 with a release date yet to be announced. The film will be Mr. Mehta's directorial debut. Indications claim the film's title has been changed to What's Cooking?.
