Wet 'n' Wild Water World (formerly named "Cade's County", then "Cade's County Wet 'n' Wild", then simply "Wet 'n' Wild" circa 1987 after a licensing agreement was reached with the Six Flags chain of water parks in the USA)[1] is a large water theme park attraction situated in Oxenford, Gold Coast next to Warner Bros. Movie World and in close proximity to Dreamworld and WhiteWater World. It is Australia's largest waterpark. In 2006, the park finished an expansion with the addition of the "Extreme H2O Zone", an area designed specifically for thrill seekers. The children's area (Buccaneer Bay) has also undergone redevelopment. The manmade Whitewater Mountain underwent refurbishment in 2007 and now has a Rocky Mountain theme. While the park remains open all year, all pools and slides are heated during winter.
