[edit] Awesome
This movie made an impression on me one time when it was on an uncensored movie channel at a friends house. I have look for it in many movie-rental stores as I never fully watched it and doing so is still a goal of mine. I hope some other people comment on their experiences as well. To be clear, from the lines "It is a point of contention whether making a deliberately bad film is indeed "ironic", or just incompetent. Most have said the latter." I removed the second line, pretty obvious its just a claim made by someone who isn't a fan of the film. Plenty have said they loved it, plenty haven't.
[edit] NPOV
Please maintain a neutral point of view when adding to this article. Instead of writing things like "dismal box office performance", find a valid source and cite it. --DDG 16:18, 9 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Movie Mistakes?
Do we really need this whole section? Maybe one or two, but this is most of the article. It seems excessive Pnkrockr 19:58, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, you know what, unless someone can explain why it is relevant, I'm just gonna axe the mistakes section. If this was a movie about an historical event or was otherwise fact-based then maybe errors would be relevant, but it's not - this is a completely irreverant comedy and doesn't seem to be trying for any sort of continuity in the first place.Rglong 02:37, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Ebert's sarcasm
I find this very notable, it is the only time I've ever seen Ebert hate something so much he doesn't even give it a normal review, but rather a bitchy song: http://rogerebert.suntimes.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20010831/REVIEWS/108310303/1023Rglong 05:50, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Userbox
For anyone who's interested, I created a Wet Hot userbox. My first one, hope you like:
| WHAS | This user is gonna go fondle his or her sweaters. |
I couldn't find a free picture of Gene, unfortunately. If someone could, that would be great. James 00:42, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
