Western China

Western China refers to the western part of China. In the definition of the Chinese Government, Western China covers 6 provinces: Gansu, Guizhou, Qinghai, Shaanxi, Sichuan, and Yunnan; 1 municipality: Chongqing; and 3 autonomous regions: Ningxia, Tibet, and Xinjiang;.
