Westeel

Westeel, a subsidiary of the Vicwest corporation as of 2005, is a Canadian grain bin manufacturing company. They are based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. It was founded by W. J. McMartin in 1905 under the name “Winnipeg Ceiling and Roofing Company”.
In 1926 it was reincorporated under the name "Western Steel Products Limited", making the change to "Westeel" in 1930 easier. By then there were plants in Regina, Saskatoon, Swift Current, Calgary, Edmonton, Lethbridge, Grande Prairie, Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal, as well as Sales Offices in Halifax, Quebec City, Ottawa, Winnipeg, and Brandon.
Today grain products made by Westeel are sold around the world.
