West Mouse
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
West Mouse (Welsh Maen y Bugael) is an islet lying 1.1 kilometres off the north-east coast of Anglesey, Wales. Its maximum dimensions are 92 metres long by 82 metres wide, with an area of 1.2 acres.
It is located in an area of notoriously strong tides. Because of this, at least three shipwrecks lie near it, making it a popular diving location. The area is also host to species such as hornwrack, sea squirts and conger eels. The island is part of a set of three spread out along the north coast of Anglesey. The other two islands are East Mouse and Middle Mouse.
