Wesley Gronowski is the author of the WoodMont Heights book series. The series is based in a rural Northern Californian community and depicts the dysfunctional story of the town’s residents and the extraordinary murders, which cast a shadow on the once tranquil haven. "The Root of Evil", the series' most popular and final instalment, ends the series.
Praised for his ability of characterization[who?], Wesley Gronowski has said he takes bits and pieces of people he knows or has met and combines them with a vision to create a lifelike and relatable character.[citation needed]
