As a teenager in New Zealand I have never refered to or heard someone referred to as 'Westpac'. Where exactly in New Zealand does this happen?--enceladus 05:08, 14 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Yeah I noticed that odd comment previously, too - I've never heard it except on that page. Maybe the person was trying to introduce a new neologism? Ppe42 12:04, May 11, 2005 (UTC)

WestpacTrust: I can remeber the exact date or the details, but sometime ago (in the 90s), Westpac New Zealand bought Trust Bank and became WestpacTrust for quite a while. It should be noted. TheWickerMan 12:04, 9 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Westpac New Zealand - Local Incorporation

As per the mentioned Reserve Bank of New Zealand requirement, Westpac Banking Corporation's New Zealand retail division changed it's legal status to a separate company on 1 November 2006. It is now registered as Westpac New Zealand Limited.

[edit] Website in infobox

Any reason why the website is formatted to match the company's style? It reeks of advertising, and I'll change it to a normal plain-text url. 202.89.152.218 06:53, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
