Those who only study or document mysticism are not mystics. Mystics are those who enter into and experience mysticism. --Blainster 16:51, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
- While that's absolutely true, it would be hard to say in an encyclopedic way what people experience, since no one can say with certainty. Only what they do and how they behave and their areas of interest are known verifiably with sources. I think most of the people in this cateogy do enter into and experience mysticism. But I think it's also true that most mystics also study mysticism as well and are generally versed in some schools of mysticism. So while I think you're right, I think it is better to avoid the NPOV problems of saying what kinds of experiences they have here. Cott12 20:27, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
