Werner-Seelenbinder-Halle

Werner-Seelenbinder-Halle was an indoor sporting arena located in Berlin, Germany. It was one of the major sports venues in Berlin in the 20th Century. The capacity of the arena was 10,000 people. It opened in 1950 and closed in 1993. Werner Seelenbinder Halle was named after assassinated Berlin resistance fighter Werner Seelenbinder, a German wrestling champion at several european championships and 1936 Summer Olympic Games athlete.
