I read somewhere that Werner Boy, who was still a student, did not return to the university and disappeared. Did he disappear from history or did he really disappear like Ettore_Majorana?

I've heard several people speculate that he died it WWI - which seems fairly likely for a German male of his age in this time period. Next time I'm in Göttingen I'll try to find out for sure. Also, I have a copy of his dissertation which includes a brief autobiography, which I will use to update this article soon. A13ean 16:44, 29 June 2007 (UTC)

I contacted the author of the above paper, who gave me the information on Boy's date of death. This probably counts as original research, so if anyone feels it necessary, please remove it. A13ean 15:25, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
