The station's late night/early morning programming, "Uncommon Rotation", was installed in early 2005 to replace the station's only free-form shows, formerly produced and programmed by the DJs and students independent of the station's professional management. Each night, different DJs hosted a wide variety of programming that highlighted material that was truly "uncommon", such as outsider music, videogame/circuit bent sound, sound collage and musique concrete, political commentary and numerous other subjects. These shows were cancelled and the station no longer allows free-form programming. Gashly 06:20, 5 March 2006 (UTC)
