Wendy Keller

Wendy Keller (born in 1964 in Chicago, IL) is a well known non-fiction literary agent who has worked with best selling authors such as Jack Canfield, Char Margolis, Col. Randall J. Larsen, George Silverman and Raleigh Pinskey.
Biography
Keller won her first writing contest at age ten, and landed her first job as a newspaper reporter at sixteen. She attended Arizona State University on a partial journalism scholarship. In 1991, she barely survived a car accident in England that caused the deaths of her two small children. In 1992, she had a daughter. In 1994, she divorced her husband after 10 years together. Her philanthropic activities include counseling parents through child loss; serving with http://www.FoodonFoot.org, a food-for-work program based in Los Angeles that helps the homeless regain self-esteem; and coaching women through the ends of abusive marriages. Keller lives with her daughter in Malibu, CA.
Career
During her early career Keller worked for The Prescott Courier, managing editor of Dateline magazine; PR Newswire, Pasadena-Star News, the Knight-Ridder newspaper chain. Keller became the associate publisher of Los Angeles' then-second-largest Spanish language newspaper, La Gaceta.
Keller founded her own literary agency (then called ForthWrite Literary Agency) in 1989 centered on the needs of authors. In 1995, she added a speakers bureau to the services she offered her talented clients. Now incorporated as Keller Media, Inc., the company specializes in guiding writers to become paid speakers, published authors and media darlings.
Under Keller's direction, the literary agency has closed more than 550 rights deals worldwide for clients. Keller herself is the author of 29 published books under 9 pseudonyms, and has been a featured guest on 47 television programs, including Dateline NBC, CBS The Early Show, Rosie, Crosstalk, Fox, ABC, the Anthony Robbins infomercial; Hannity and Colmes and other programs; her work has been featured in the Chicago Tribune, New York Times, LA Times, Dallas Morning News, San Francisco Chronicle, UK Glamour, Playboy, Maxim, Parenting, the Cincinnati Enquirer, Rocky Mountain News, Denver Post and others; and more than 500 radio shows worldwide.
