The Wellington Classic was a tennis tournament held from 1988 to 1992 in Wellington, New Zealand. It was also known by its corporate title of the Fernleaf Classic.
The event was played on outdoor hard courts and the Women's Tennis Association classed it as a Tier V event for the duration of its existence. The only New Zealanders to taste success at the event were Kelly Evernden, who won the men's singles in 1990, and Julie Richardson, in the 1991 women's doubles contest, partnering Australian Jo-Anne Faull.
The men's tournament was one of the first events of the year, played just in advance of the Australian Open.
