This template checks whether the username contains any letters. If there are any, {{Welcome-reg}} will be shown. If there are none, {{Welcome-anon}} will be shown.

Notes:

  • One can use the usual parameters for welcome templates, that is:
    • 1: your username (e.g. {{subst:wel|John Doe}})
    • art: an article the user positively contributed to (e.g. {{subst:wel|art=George W. Bush}})
  • Please always subst this template.
  • A useful shortcut to this template is {{Wel}}.
