Talk:Welsh Conservative Party

[edit] Correct name?
I notice that on their website they call themselves "Welsh Conservatives/Ceidwadwyr Cymreig". In the article they are called "The Welsh Conservative Party" in English but "Ceidwadwyr Cymru" is given as the Welsh name (presumably following the website) in the infobox. Which is correct as an official title? One reason I'm asking is that I think the Welsh name should be given in the opening paragraph, but should it be "Ceidwadwyr Cymru" - in which case this should be renamed "Welsh Conservatives" - or "Plaid Geidwadol Cymru" ("WCP")? - I don't know if it's what you mean by 'official title', but the registered Welsh language name is 'Plaid Geidwadol Cymru'. Hence, I suggest that the name should be kept as it is. The party may use either 'Welsh Conservative Party' or 'Welsh Conservatives' on the ballot paper as additional names of the Conservative and Unionist Party as registered with the Electoral Commission.
