From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Wei Zhao (204 - 273) is a Chinese scholar who served the Kingdom of Wu of the Three Kingdoms Period of China.
Wei Zhao was the first President (博士祭酒) of the Imperial Central College at Nanjing (ancient Nanjing University).
Due to the naming taboo, Wei Zhao, who had the same name as Sima Zhao, a posthumously conferred emperor of Jin Dynasty, was recorded as Wei Yao (韋曜) in the Records of the Three Kingdoms.
