[edit] Article size

User:Zfr has suggested removing the flags from this article as it is too big. Personally I feel that it would be better split into two pages Weightlifting at the 2004 Summer Olympics - Men and Weightlifting at the 2004 Summer Olympics - Women so that it follows the same format as Athletics at the 2004 Summer Olympics, Swimming at the 2004 Summer Olympics and Volleyball at the 2004 Summer Olympics that also became too big. Does this seem a better way to go????Scraggy4 22:23, 20 Aug 2004 (UTC)

In fact I have already removed the flags but the article is still 31 kb. Zfr 02:20, 21 Aug 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Doping

I just heard on TV that Leonidas Sampanis of Greece has tested positive for a banned substance and his bronze medal at 62kg event will be given to Israel Jose Rubio of Venezuela. But there's no mention of it at www.athens2004.com yet. Zfr 02:27, 21 Aug 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Ties

There's one case in this article of two people lifting the same total weight, but one getting gold and the other silver. What kind of count-back occurs? —Preceding unsigned comment added by {} (talk • contribs)

I think the lighter athlete gets the higher rank. Barcovelero 02:59, 5 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Start Class article

I assessed the article as "Start class" in the Olympics WikiProject, since it has all the results but lacks more infomation about the event, the athletes, photos, etc. -- Magioladitis (talk) 10:38, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
