[edit] List of Weevil episodes
If they have their own page, it would be good if it had a list of the episodes they feature in at the bottom.Wolf of Fenric 23:36, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
- Might get a bit silly if it keeps growing at such a rate. We'll see... Clockwork Apricot (talk) 19:18, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] I wonder...
I wonder, where the hell do they get their leather jackets?—Preceding unsigned comment added by Inbejylibei (talk • contribs)

[edit] hoix related
has anyone else noticed that a Weevil looks similar to a Hoix.--I.W 18:44, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] New speculation on their origin
In series 3 there are Dalek/Human hybrids in the sewers of New York 1930, captain jack referenced this. So who else thinks weevils are these hybrids? Everyone... so there. * —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rinse Concord (talk • contribs)

- Isn't it pigs in the sewers? — AnemoneProjectors (zomg!) 14:15, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
- How do Humans + Daleks = pig? LOL. I see Weevils, as they are "humans" with the aggression of Daleks.
- Didn't the preview show pig people in the sewers? They certainly weren't weevils. — AnemoneProjectors (zomg!) 18:30, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

Arent they the same as the futurekind found in utopia? The similaritys are striking.
and as i've said above don't they look a bit like Hoix. mabey the Hoix, Weevils and Futurekind are somehow related.
[edit] Cleanup
I've cleaned up a bit of phrasing, and removed some duplicate text, such as the comparison by Toshiko of Weevils to humankind which is mentioned twice. ~CortalYX 15:32, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Name Weevil
Shouldn't it say somewhere that the name Weevil is taken from Red Dwarf?Wild ste 17:42, 17 July 2007 (UTC)

- Not really, but its spelt and said the same. Though there are some major differences since the Red Dwarf one is like a small rat.Wild ste 14:30, 31 July 2007 (UTC)

- I'm pretty sure it comes from the common insect pest of the same name.~ZytheTalk to me! 23:38, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

About the name - should it be capitalized or not? I would prefer capitals, to distinguish them from the beetles. Most alien races are capitalized, but that is usually because they are named after their planet (just as "humans" are "Terrans" or "Earthlings"). On the other hand, "Weevil" is a nickname, and nicknames count as proper names and have capitals. I'm inclined to go ahead and capitalize throughout, and will do it shortly if no one has any objections. Robina Fox (talk) 10:32, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
