A group of electrical company workers stumble across what they think is a radioactive source inside of a Chicago building. In this laboratory, the workers turn the machine on. However they are unaware that they are opening a gateway to a parallel universe. In this universe they have to fend off groups of spider-people, while they attempt to find a way home.
