[edit] Notability & Spam
Good stuff, Daniel who I'm guessing is Seraph0x. You captured the wiki style really well.
I think the webgirlfriends reference could probably stand to be removed, since that's a commercial site and I'm not sure it deserves as much prominance in the history as putting it there suggests.
What about TeaseMe's old site at http://www.mybdsm.com/pages/teaseme/? I think that's the first webteases I remember seeing online and certainly was the forerunner of od.com. I would guess that's been around since at least '98. Anyone know of anything earlier? I'll ask at od.com
-
- I couldn't confirm that claim (no data @web.archive.org), so we'll have to stick with the 2001 tease for now.

When I created the article I tried to put in many references to prove the notability of webteases. If this is percieved as spamming, please feel free to remove the links, I am in no way affiliated with any of the posted sites. (Although I'm a user on most of them.)
This is my first article, so please be gentle. ^^
[edit] Verifiability
The concern is that the article is a:
Neologism, no reliable sources on this so doesn't meet Wikipedia:Verifiability
The term is indeed a Neologism (like Bukkake), but there are already many independet sources using it. I want to emphasize that the article is not only about the term itself, but about the format it describes.
Here are some sites that offer webteases: http://www.milovana.com/
http://www.dominant-mistress.com/
http://www.humiliatrix.com/preview/teasegalleries.html
http://www.manipulatrix.com/teaseintro.htm
http://www.cockcontrol.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=19
http://www.mybdsm.com/pages/teaseme/
There is not much information about how many people actually watch the teases, but for example http://www.orgasmdenial.com/ has a forum solely on the topic called "Web Teases" with 1161 posts at the moment.
The term has now been around for five years and all the sources above have independently chosen to use it in the way defined in this article. Therefore I say that the term is indeed relevant for Wikipedia.
