I believe this page has valid merit on Wiki. The page describes a smart irrigation technology that is available through several vendors - just like cleenex for instance. The purpose of this page is to inform the public in laymans terms what this clean technology does.
WeatherTRAK is a smart water management solution, essentially a satellite controlled smart irrigation system available in residential and commercial versions with internet and wireless PDA control capabilities.
The systems receive a daily localized satellite update (down to one square kilometer) and then meter out water according to various preset parameters that include acreage, soil type, plant type, shade and slope. Slope being very important because it causes harmful run-off.
The net result is a reduction in water consumption by up to 70% and an elimination of harmful run-off. Also, palants and greenescapes appear more virbrant and healthy since they receive optimal watering. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sfrobert (talk • contribs)
Heyo. If you want to work on the article, also remember it needs to conform to WP:N and WP:W...it needs to be notable, and the notability needs to be backed up with reliable, independent sources. It also needs to be free of any sort of advertising. It looks like the technology is notable enough, just find some independent sources to prove it (magazine articles, web sites, newspaper articles, and so on). If you need help with this, feel free to ask on my talk page. If you can't find the required sources, it may be best to let the article be deleted for now and re-create it when you can find them...without them, the article will be deleted pretty quickly anyways. --UsaSatsui 02:24, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
