The Hannah Montana song We Got the Party was the track on her new album Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley Cyrus. The album has sold over 4 million copies and is a 3x multi-platinum. This song was featured in her Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour, and is sometimes sung as a duet with the Jonas Brothers. It is 3:35 minutes long.

We Got the Party is an idealistic Rock anthem, written about the way teenagers dream to spend a Friday. It starts to talk about turning a park into a club, a metaphor refering to the change from an average school day into a great weekend, starting with this ideal Friday night. The constant reference to having the party, or essentially being the party, adds to the idealistic side of the song, showing that this is the perfect Friday night. Although, the reference to everyone waiting for you to come, starts to signify the fact that this perfect Friday doesn't exist through the use of gross exageration.
Even without the deep meaning behind the words, this song is very upbeat. It has a great combination of instruments and vocals making it more rock than pop, and overall it has to be one of Hannah Montana's best songs.
