[edit] Re:Welcome

Hi. I am unable to figure out where I replaced your comments with my own. Can you point me to the particular edit that you are talking about? Of course, you are free to welcome users. However, upon reviewing your contributions, I see that you are putting the welcome message on some user pages instead of talk pages. Please put the messages on talk pages — Lost(talk) 03:13, 14 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Welcome to editing articles

You said you have some difficulty in starting good articles. A great way to begin is to edit ones that are already here. There are very few WP articles that could not use some improvement. As you see articles here, fix up the spelling or the grammar or the sentence structure, or make a better division into paragraphs. See Help:Minor_edit. Then get starting looking for references to add, and adding them. And go one from there. See Help:Starting a new page. Enjoy yourself here, and do some good. DGG 00:49, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] License tagging for Image:Wcm2010ava.gif

Thanks for uploading Image:Wcm2010ava.gif. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 23:14, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
