This shows the first Wood Badge training in Gilwell Park in September 1919. It shows Robert Baden-Powell, one of the trainers, in the centre.

Also included in the picture are Deputy Chief Scout Percy Everett, Gilwell Camp Chief Francis Gidney and his deputy F.S. Morgan, Managing Secretary of The Scout Association Major A.G. Wade, Scout Commissioner for Gilwell P.B. Nevill, and others. There were eighteen participants: Hines, Robson, Berlin, Butler, Bunt, Davies, Wilkinson, Todd, Fay, Kent, Firth, Hammond, Eiffe, Nevill, Phillips, Earle, Baker, Lang.
