  • Recent contributions, of course, rely to an extent on the prior text of the article, although that has been cross-checked as available.
  • In gathering additional data:
    • Publication information. Search of prominent university (UCLA) library catelogue for publication information, as well as established bookseller search sites (Bookfinder, Abebooks) on the net. The text of some articles were found available on the web.
    • Biographic information. The sites were located in chief using Google. Many of these sites are referenced in EXTERNAL LINKS. Also consulted were various reference books (Catholic Encyclopedia, Eerdmans Bible Dictionary, etc.) containing tangential information.
  • Cross checking. Information added checked in order to determine its accuracy; that is, information at one source would be found to confirm or contradict, in whole or in part, information found at another independent source. Judgment made as to what infromation sufficiently reliable to include. Sources used include Wikipedia, other web sites (especially concerning Wayne Teasdale, see EXTERNAL LINKS), & books (e.g., two cited above) that convey tangential information used to judge the accuracy of primary information.
  • Scheduled additional sourcing. Next opportunity to visit a university library, to consult the forwards and prefaces to books by Teasdale, for any additional information given. Already checked is the book he edited with Cairns.
  • The late Wayne Teasdale is a contemporary figure.
