Hello,.I am Chris Parkinson, owner of Before 'n' After Rustproofing, 87 West, New Greenham Park, Newbury, Berkshire. www.before-n-after.co.uk I have had a professional business, waxoyling vehicles since 1987. I have formulated and manufactured my own rustproofing products, including a colour pigmented, impact resistant wax for "colour matched wheelarches". This was aimed at the classic car market to give a "super fussy restoration" look and was introduced in 1991. I therefore have a great deal of knowledge about waxoyl and its application and I also know quite a bit about the formulation and manufacture of rustproofing oils, greases and waxes. Here are some facts:

"Waxoyl AG" is a marketing company based in Switzerland. They do not manufacture Waxoyl. Waxoyl is produced at Prudhoe. Waxoyl was marketed and sold initially as a diy product. However it has always been used by professional restorers (and myself of course).

I am really fed up with Waxoyl AG or its agents trying to present its "Waxoyl Professional" product as some kind of superior product and trying to make us believe that they manufacture their version of Waxoyl. Their version of Waxoyl is manufactured at Prudhoe, Norhumberland, UK by Hammerite Products owned by ICI. If the Swiss Waxoyl is a "superior" product, then we need some proof of this.

I have therefore reverted the page to an earlier, more truthful, informative version.

Greetings Mr. Parkinson. It is obvious that you have an ax to grind against Waxoyl Professional. Every mention of them in your edits of the Waxoyl article has been consistently negative and slanderous. Im not sure what they did to piss you off, but I find your use of Wikipedia very unprofessional.

You have been using Wikipedia as a forum to spread misinformation. This is exactly the reason why Wikipedia is a powerful yet dangerous tool. Altho across the top of the article it states that the article cites no references and needs improvement, a person unexperienced with Wikipedia may take this article as the truth. Which it clearly is not.

It is discouraging how you simplified the history and the differences between the two companies constantly disparaging Waxoyl Professional.

I don't have the time or will to fight this propaganda battle with you. But let it be here formally noted.
