Waverley Christian College is an inter-denominational and co-educational independent Christian school in the outer Eastern Melbourne suburb of Wantirna South. The School is located on the same property as CityLife Church, with the new Eastlink Tollway being built down the road with exits on High Street Road.

Originally established in 1978 as Parkmore Full Gospel College by Parkmore Full Gospel Church, the church and its school merged with Waverley Christian Fellowship (now CityLife Church) in 1983. The College (and Church) were moved to their present site in Wantirna South in 1989.
The College has more than 1000 students, with over 550 in Primary and more than 450 in the Secondary School. The College has a great academic record, always achieving highly in VCE scores.[1]
The College is set-up as a ministry of CityLife Church in Knox, a large, local charismatic Megachurch with more than 7000 attendees. [2]

The College has a four "House" system. The Houses are used mainly for sporting events.
- Red - Wycliffe - Named after a 14th Century Theologian
- Green - Tyndale - Named after a 16th Century Protestant Reformer and Scholar
- Yellow - Finney - Named after an 18th Century American Revivalist and Minister
- Blue - Spurgeon - Named after a 19th Century Preacher

Over the last decade, more than $7 Million has been spent on improving the schools outdated and lacking facilities. New buildings over the last decade include:
- Secondary Oval Wing
- Primary Wing
- Library
- Art/Technology Building
- Music Facilities
- Gymnasium
- Artificial Playing Field
For school productions and chapel services, the school uses the state-of-art main auditorium at CityLife Church which is on the same property and has a capacity of 2000 people.
[edit] Curriculum and Extra-curriculum
Every year, multiple school sports, athletics and entertainment events are held and are on show for parents and relatives of all students. The sporting events are usually held for 'Inter-house' competitions and add points to each houses tally for the trophy at years end.
- House Athletics Carnival - Includes all track and field events.
- House Swimming Sports - Swimming Competition between houses.
- Inter-school Sports Events - Covers all mainstream sports including Australian Football, Soccer, Basketball and Netball and is played against other Christian Colleges.
Aside from sports, other events take place.
- House Debating - Teams from each house compete against the others.
- House Drama - Groups, Dialogues and Monologues compete for points.
- Wakakirri - A national dance festival that WCC participates in every year.
