Waverider, you asked why you can't add an entry about your company to Wikipedia when Coca-Cola has one. Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia, not a form of advertising. As such we have established policies and criteria for what can and can't be included. Have a read of Wikipedia:Notability (companies and corporations). One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that it is built upon reliable sources which are independent of the subject. For these reasons we have defined guidelines about inclusion of articles on companies. Articles about a company that are written by the owner or the company's marketing director are considered as spam and are not welcome. Pascal.Tesson 11:19, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
