[edit] Needs major expansion or split

This article doesnt explain adequately the geologic evolution to get from wave cut platform to marine terrace (with isostatic adjustment explanation and topsoil formation), because to the common reader the two features dont look at all the same and the ecology is totally different at the two stages of evolution. Either major expansion is in order or a split. Cuvette 02:33, 22 June 2007 (UTC)

Exactly and I suggest to restrain the word marine terrace, to palaeo shore platform (both erosional and depositional) and not to use it as a synonim of modern one —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pedojak (talk • contribs) 09:14, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
