Waterland (water park)

Waterland is a water park in Thessaloniki, Greece. It opened in 1994 and it is the largest waterpark in Eastern Europe as it covers an area of 150,000 square metres.

Waterland currently offers six pools, the junior pool with junior slides, Knossos Luxury Pool, the Wave pool,Crazy River, Simpoli 5 eXtreme Slides and SuperSlides.
It is located at Tagarades, a village at the outskirts of Thessaloniki on the way to Chalkidiki.
It is open from May to September. About 150.000 people visit the park each year.
It is a member of both the European and the world water park organisations.
