Is this the site of the famous battle? Andres 14:37, 27 Sep 2003 (UTC)

Yes, it is. D.D. 14:39, 27 Sep 2003 (UTC)

Made "Duke of Wellington" point to the one in the battle and Wellington Museum point to Wellington Museum (Belgium) because it was pointing to Apsley house, London.

Can anybody provide a map to show where it is? Richard75 00:07, 30 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Quote probably apocrpyphal?

Google has the quote in the picture caption appearing only in a Project Guteberg etext of "American Adventures" from 1917 and is not attributed there. 70.53.109.198 14:15, 18 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Modern Waterlo

Is it really important to say that "Today Waterloo contains two Carrefour hypermarkets, a Delhaize store, an Ibis hotel, a Fortis Bank branch" I don't think that's a particularity of the city...

-Well not all Belgian towns have two hypermarkets.. Renelllope 11:35, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
I think it's important...it gives one a sense of the community. What's nice about Waterloo is it's a very self-sufficient suburb of Brussels. The real question, though, is should someone add something about any of it's interesting resturaunts like Six Colons or A Cote D'or or The Snug or something? Rowlan 15:13, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
Self-sufficient? I don't think that word means what you think it does...81.241.35.127 16:26, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
