I have removed the links to each individual player. None of them actually referenced valid entries and I doubt that they will ever be written. In fact, one of them incorrectly linked to William Tuttle who was not born until 7 years after this olympics. I think the team listing is valid however, so I have left the members names in place. Also, why does the title say "Tug of War"? Are these names of water polo players or tug o' war competitors? Robotmannick 03:35, 30 July 2005 (UTC)

The IOC results database has no mention of water polo at the 1904 games. What was the source of the original data? Andrwsc 20:57, 9 March 2006 (UTC)

  • I also noticed it. So, what shall we do? This might change a lot of articles greatly --VovanA (talk) 11:46, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
In the Dutch wikipedia this event was already stated as unofficial and all the medal tables were adjusted according to this. Miho NL (talk) 12:12, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
