Washington Township is one of twelve townships in Warren County, Indiana, USA. It was not one of the original four townships formed in 1827, but was created in March 1830. It is the most populous township in the county, with a population of 2351 according to the 2000 census, with 1935 of those living in Williamsport.

Washington Township covers an area of 19.51 square miles (50.53 square kilometers); of this, 0.39 square miles (1.01 square kilometers) or 2 percent is water. The streams of Big Pine Creek, Clear Branch, Dry Branch, Fall Branch and Rock Creek run through this township. It is home to Williamsport Falls, the highest waterfall in the State of Indiana.
