The Washington State Convention and Trade Center is a convention center located next to and over Interstate 5 in downtown Seattle, Washington, adjacent to Freeway Park. Planning for its construction began in 1982; construction began in 1985, and the center opened on June 18, 1988. An expansion that doubled the usable space was undertaken from 1999 to 2001. It is notable for being the location of the WTO Meeting of 1999 that was disrupted by protestors. It has over 200,000 square feet of exhibit space.

The 41st annual TESOL Convention was held there. Sakura-Con 2006 and 2007 were held there, and is contracted to return in 2008. Penny Arcade Expo 2007 was held there in August, and is contracted to return in 2008.
