Washington is a station on the Chicago Transit Authority's 'L' system, serving the Blue Line.
As of October 23rd, 2006, the transfer tunnel between this station and Washington/State has been closed due to construction of a "super-station" under what is commonly referred to as Block 37. Because of this closure, one must now take the Blue Line to Jackson/Dearborn to transfer to the Red Line.
