Wasgamuwa

Wasgamuawa is situated in the Matale district of central province in Sri Lanka. The place is famous for the wildlife sanctuary. Elephants, Indian Peafowl and many other types of birds can be often seen. The leopard and fox are rarely seen. There are few good hotels nearby the park and safari tours could be arranged from the hotels or directly from the park. The park is managed by the wildlife department of Sri Lanka.
