[edit] Band history

The band was formed as Ratnici (Serbian for "Warriors") by Dušan Nikolić (vocal) and Riblja Čorba drummer Miroslav Milatović. Rest of the members were Dragan Deletić (guitar), former Gordi member Slobodan Svrdlan (bass guitar) and Zoran Konjević (guitar).

The original idea was for Ratnici to record demo material with lyrics written in both English and Serbian. Songs with Serbian lyrics were not recorded due to Milatović's army obligations. With Canadian guitarist Douglas Platt replacing Deletić, band recorded mini LP Ratnici - Warriors with two songs sung in Serbian and two in English. Soon afterwards the band changed the name to Warriors and released self-titled album Warriors. After signing the contract with Attic Records, the band, without Milatović, went to Canada. With the new drummer Lawrence Gretsch they recorded the second self-titled album, Warriors. In 1986 the band disbaned.
