Warner Music Canada is the Canadian subsidiary of Warner Music Group and is owned by Edgar Bronfman, Jr.. The label previously operated as WEA Canada (standing for Warner Elektra Atlantic), the Canadian subsidiary of WEA International. WEA International changed its name to Warner Music International in 1990.
