A Business Angel Challenge… Britain’s Got Talent

A Business Angel is needed in the UK to meet the national challenge of funding and underwriting a £1.6m National Talent Awards. The National Talent Awards™ initiative for a range of over sixty Talent Awards ranging from £3,000 to £350,000 CASH and other monetary based Talent Awards for: Accommodation, Clothing, Computers, IT Equipment, Holidays, Mobile Communications, New Homes, Sartorial Attire, Travel, Transport and top-flight professional services such as: Accountancy, Banking, Corporate Image Design, Corporate Legal Advice, Public Relations, and Website Design. The National Talent Awards™ will within ten years support over 4,000 talented people each year in: art, business, science and sport. The aim of The National Talent Awards™ is to identify, foster and support talented people through a range of monetary based National Talent Awards™. Talented people who are socially excluded and or underrepresented in: art, business, science or sport, from ALL social and cultural backgrounds nationally. The National Talent Awards™ initiative has itself received an award for: Best Business Start-Up Innovation 2006 from London Knowledge Innovation Centre –London South Bank University in conjunction with Southwark Council’s enterprise initiative Biziness Extra. The National Talent Awards™ initiative is the brain-child of Warren Alexander-Dean who is the innovator and daily driving force behind the idea, which has the support of over forty prominent organizations including: Business Link, Association of London Government, Greater London Authority, London Development Agency, Southwark Alliance, Joseph Rowntree Foundation, London Knowledge Innovation Centre, South London Business, Channel Four – Ideas Factory, Government Office for London, Small Business Service and Film London. This support includes one lord and two knights of the realm. The National Talent Awards™ needs an experienced Business Angel, ideally with some PLC governance and compliance experience, at boardroom level, who can rise to the challenge of funding and underwriting this £1.6m National Talent Awards™ initiative. The 2012 Olympic and Para Olympic Games is an ideal opportunity to get these National Talent Awards™ off the ground for 2008, as The National Talent Awards™ will offer; Annual Income Allowance Awards of up to £52,000, which should prove crucial for many athletes in securing a medal opportunity, where one might otherwise not exist.
