Here is some information that can be wikified when it's cleaned up and referenced. I don't know of any websites offhand that contain this material, and I don't know what the books were that I originally read the info from. But it is part of our towns histoy.

In 1898 a railway platform named Karabah was built, to service a developing estate possibly sharing the same name. This was closed before WW1. In 1918 a new station was built not much further down the Blue Mountains line, and named Warrimoo. This station was burnt out by a bushfire in the 1950s and subsequently rebuilt.

I know there is an article about the station itself, but I believe this historical information is important to the development of the township itself. 121.44.81.13 (talk) 00:55, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
