It is sad to see a Pashtun ethno-nationalist write the entries for the cities and provinces of Afghanistan to the south, west and southeast of the Hindu Kush mountain. All the ethnic "statistics" are falsified to grossly exaggerate the size of the Pashtun people. The best resource for the accurate figures and statistics is: Luis Dupree, Aghanistan (Princeton University Press). There, one will get the right figures for Wardak (pronounced Vardak by the vast majority of the native population there who happen to be non-Pashtun, as well as the city of Maydan Shahr. So sad. What does one achieve by falsifying figures on an encyclopaedia like this except misleading the people? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Izady (talkcontribs) 02:14, 15 March 2008 (UTC)
